“Turning” is a combat-less game about agriculture, economy, and exploration developed for fans of Stardew Valley and A Link to the Past.

In Turning, your future depends on the success of a small run-down town, where you’ve been hired to maintain a recent widow’s deteriorating farmstead.

Unknown to most of the folk who live there, the area surrounding your new home is full of secrets. Logic, strategy, and a good sense of adventure are needed to uncover them, revive the town, and secure your own livelihood for the seasons to come.

Current Development Plans

  • A fully upgradeable town, where new businesses will appear or improve based on your interactions with the townsfolk

  • 32 fish, with individual preferences and a stockable fish pond

  • A cyclical game clock, which controls lighting, weather, environmental effects, available activities, npc schedules, and interactions

  • A multitude of options for furniture, decorations, and clothing

  • Unique items found throughout the world which allow players special abilities (for example, an hourglass that can freeze time)

  • A detailed, multi-leveled economy

  • Systems for crafting, cooking, candlemaking, painting, brewing, pickling, dying, and arranging bouquets with your harvested resources

  • Genetic seed manipulation

  • Harvesting and watering mechanics that respect your time

  • No stamina bar

  • Adjustable game speed

  • Save any time of the day

  • Lovable farm kittens

  • A bike for faster travel, from the beginning
